Born Pretty Store review- Stamping plate

Hi everyone!

Today I have a quick review on a Born Pretty Store stamping plate in BP-51

As with every BPS plate I own, the images are well engraved and all pick up beautifully!

Here is the first mani I did using the cute feather as an accent

For this mani I used Revlon "Rainforest" as a base and stamped with Sally Hansen "Lite"

The only issue I had at the time of receiving the plate was that my nails were a little too long for the full size images to fit. Since then I have filed my nails down so the full size images fit perfectly!

Here is my second mani showcasing the pinwheel image

For this mani I used Pinwheel Polish "Harmonious Hues" for all my nails except my right finger where I used Sally Hansen "Petal Pusher" as the base and stamped with "OMGhost" also by S.H

For this last mani, I used Orly "Cherry Bomb" as the base and stamped with Bundle Monster black stamping polish.

My final thoughts of this plate are pretty much the same as every plate I review for them, I love it! It has really cute images and all of them pick up with absolutely no issues.

Born Pretty Store Review- Water Decals

Hi everyone! Today I have another BPS review for you guys, this time I was sent 3 sheets of water decals.

Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the original packaging because I cut it while opening the envelope lol.

As you can see, this decal set comes with three different sheets to choose from which is amazing for a lot of different manis.
For the first manicure, I chose to use the bows from the HOT-178 sheet and the lips, "xoxo" and "love" speak bubble from the HOT-179 sheet.
These water decals are extremely easy to use. All you have to do is soak the chosen image in water for 10 seconds then slide it off the backing and on to your nail.
For the second design, I chose to use the "Love and Peace" image from the HOT-178 sheet. For some reason, that saying really reminded me of the 70's/hippie scene lol. So I decided to add that image over a tie dye background.
I really like the way these turned out! As I mentioned before, these decals are really easy to use and make for a quick and cute mani!

You can get these here or search for item #17411 on BornPrettyStore.com

Born Pretty Store Review- Stamping Plate BP-39

Hello everyone! Today I have a quick review on a stamping plate from Born Pretty Store for you.
When I chose this stamping plate I was really excited for the one in the middle on the bottom row because I thought it said "bruh" lol. Turns out it says "buuh" but I still love it!
I was very pleased with the size of the full nail images. I was worried they weren't going to fit my long, pointy nails but I was pleasantly surprised that they just fit!
I was very happy with the smaller images as well. The top two have thinner lines so I thought I'd have a hard time picking them up since I'm still learning how to stamp but I had no issues with any of the images at all.

This plate is available here or you can search for item #18782 on BornPrettyStore.com

Born Pretty Store- Stamping plates review

Hello lovelies! ! Today I have some Born Pretty Store stamping plates and their stamper & scraper to show you guys.
I recently started getting into stamping so when BPS asked me if I wanted to review some of their plates & stamper, of course I said yes!

Stamper & Scraper set (item #17682)
First, let's begin with the scraper. Usually I am not a fan of scrapers with a blade because they scratch up the plates and I personally don't like the look of that so I was pleasantly surprised that this one did not scratch any of my plates at all! It didn't scratch my plate and it removed the polish nicely. No matter how hard I pressed, it did no damage to my plates so I was pretty pleased.

Okay now I'll get into the stamper. I just want to start off by saying that I love it! It is absolutely amazing. It is nice and squishy but not too squishy, the perfect firmness for me! It picks up the images perfectly every time. I haven't had any problems with it not picking up an image or having bald spots when I pick up. I would definitely recommend this stamper to anyone who is looking for a good, affordable stamper!
Here is a macro shot of a design I did using the BPS stamper, look at those crisp lines!

Stamping Plate- BP-02 (item #16849)
This is the first stamping plate I picked out because I had been wanting to do a lace French tip on my sister so when I saw this, I knew it would be perfect! This plate is very nicely engraved, I had no problems picking up any of the designs. I was worried that it might be a little difficult considering there is a lot of fine lines but had absolutely no issues with them.
In this mani I used BP-02, the design on the bottom left corner.

Stamping Plate- BP-48 (item #18791)
This plate, like the last one, is also very nicely engraved. I had no issues picking up any of the designs. I was concerned about the butterfly since it is kind of a big empty space and sometimes with those types of designs, you can scrape them wrong and end up with a bald spot. I tried it a few times and was getting a bald spot right in the middle of the butterfly but then I remembered @NailStamp4Fun's advice about scraping in different directions and maybe that might help, and it did! I simply scraped from the bottom to the top and it worked perfectly. I tried it a couple times to see if it was just luck but no, scraping in that direction helped me avoid the bald spot I was creating with my scraper.

For this mani I used BP-48 and the BPS stamper. The design I used was the one on the bottom right corner.

Stamping Plate- BP-L002 (item #17920)

This plate is a larger, rectangular plate with a pink plastic like backing to it compared to the other two which are smaller, round plates with a white backing that have BornPrettyStore.com printed on them. From the minute I saw this plate on other nail girls' pages on Instagram, I knew I had to have it! I was not disappointed when I finally tried it myself, the images are so gorgeous and are nicely engraved. I love these type of plates that are fully engraved because there is so much versatility to them. I tried  the whole plate and every thing picks up amazingly, I had no issues with it.

For this mani I used BP-L002. The design is the flower on the bottom left corner in the second picture.

Overall I am extremely pleased with these items. I am so grateful to Born Pretty Store for sending these items to me.

Bundle Monster Downtown Collection- Review

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've posted anything and I'm sorry for that. I'm really trying to get in to blogging more. Anyway, today I come to you with a review of Bundle Monster's Downtown Collection!

Bristol is a deep maroon creme that was opaque in 2 coats. The formula was extremely nice and easy to work with. I had no issues with this staining my nails or the skin around my nails.

I used 2 coats of Bristol over 1 coat of Chrome my Nail by Bonita to create a ruffian mani. I also added a little bit of lace with black acrylic paint.

Crowley is a deep purple creme that was opaque in 1 coat. This picture does not do this polish justice! In real life, Crowley leans a lot more red than blue. The formula was perfection, not too thick even though it's a one coater. I had no staining issues with this one either.

I used 1 coat of Crowley and did some glitter placement with Diamond Drops by Color Club.

Eaton is a dusty teal creme that was opaque in 2 coats. The formula was amazing and I had no staining issues with this one.

I used 2 coats of Eaton with 1 coat of High Fashion by Milani and black acrylic paint for the tip design.

Harlow is a deep blue creme that was opaque in 1 coat. The formula was obviously amazing. It was the perfect consistency for being a one coat polish. I had no staining issues.

I used 1 coat of Harlow and did an argyle pattern with acrylic paint.

Oxford is a nice coffee brown creme that was opaque in 2 coats. The formula on this one was a little bit thinner than the rest but it was still easy to work with. I would just say to make sure you don't have too much product on your brush or you might run the risk of overflowing your cuticles.

I used 2 coats of Oxford, studs by Sally Hansen, and black acrylic paint for the accent nail.

Redhill is a dark burgundy shimmer with flashes of red that was opaque in 1 coat. The formula was just phenomenal on this one. I was expecting for this one to be a 2 coater so I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, I did experience a little bit of staining on my nails after wearing this for about a day. It's very minor but noticable if you look close enough.

I used 1 coat of Redhill to create a half moon and then lined it with silver glitter.

This is the first time I've ever used any Bundle Monster products and I'm very impressed. I've also read that they stamp very well too! I'll hopefully be testing them out for stamping very soon! The Downtown Collection is available on their website now.

Born Pretty Store review (rhinestones + water decals)

Hello ladies,

Today I have a Born Pretty Store review for you all. I was sent 3 products, a rhinestone wheel and 2 different water decal pages? Packets? Lol I'm not sure but you'll see what I mean in a second!

Rhinestones (Item #16277)

There's really not much to worry about when you buy rhinestones or studs other than, do they get cloudy or lose color when you apply topcoat over them? Well these don't!
I was a little apprehensive to apply topcoat over them because I thought they'd lose the cool color shift they have going on but they didn't at all!
The base color for this manicure is called Fall Brisk by Pinwheel Polish.

This wheel also contains white rhinestones and different shapes.
(Image belongs to Born Pretty Store

These rhinestones are available here.

Water Decals #1 (Item #14925 in design H060)
As usual, the water decals are super cute and extremely easy to use. There isn't much to say other than that so here is another picture instead.
The colors I used for this manicure were Sally Hansen-Champagne Toast (light pink) and Revlon-Jungle. The design on the two middle accent nails was hand painted with acrylic paint.

These are available here.

Water Decals #2 (Item #14779 in design DS-086)
These gear water decals caught my eye immediately because I thought they were unique compared to the floral ones I usually choose. Just like the rest, they were extremely easy to use.
For the accent design I used striping tape and black nail polish over a gradient using Sally Hansen-Lightening, yhBEJA Cosmetics-#4, and L.A Colors-Sea Siren.

These are available here

Purple holographic studs + micro beads

Hello ladies!

Today I have a quick post talking abou these super cute purple holographic studs from Born Pretty Store.

I've totally been obsessed with the looks of studs or pearls with micro beads so I did a kind of random design using the BPS studs as the focal point and some micro beads and plain silver studs as accents.

The studs are fantastic, just like regular studs but with the amazing holographic-ness to them. They're big enough to be noticeable but small enough that they lay flat on the nail.

The studs come in a small resealable baggie with a sticker detailing what's in it. The item number (#14755), how many are in it (300) and the size (3mm).

You find this product HERE

Born Pretty Store kindly provided me a discount code for you all to use for 10% off your purchase: CTZX31.

I hope you're all having a great week

Denisse
